I am an artist working in the medium of textiles on the body. These pieces are very original in their approach and are almost entirely hand sewn, incorporating many different mediums to produce a fusion of old world technique and worked detailing with an undercurrent of experimental chaos. As an artist I create an innovative, newfound approach to clothes making through discarding traditional design techniques and focusing instead on the process of experimentation. The uniqueness of my work is a reflection of my perception of the individual. 

I believe in the integrity of every person, my clothes cater for those who also believe in their own integrity. I trained as a painter, with and interest in mixed media and 2d experimentation. Changing from painting to fibre art has mostly meant a change in format, taking the canvas off the wall and wrapping it around the body, and changing the tool from a paintbrush to a needle and tread.
