My travels and living in three continents of this world, has certainly made me feel like "a leaf on the breath of time". Inspiration, influence of, and the love of beautiful items, whether made by nature or mankind are reflected in my work; at the same time attempting to instill images of richness, mystery and journeys

the amber of Denmark, jade of the New Zealand rivers, coral of the Pacific, turquoise the sky stone, lapis colour of the oceans, mixing this matrix to form jewels, which reflect my travels, past knowledge and
my background as a Viking. Now that I live in New Zealand, after a life journey of chance, coincidence, some deliberate choices and frequent adventures, I am presented with a new map to contemplate on and create from. New myths from the South Pacific, reflections of the continuation and changing state of these Pacific Islands, and yet
the richness of their past. |
