My interests are predominantly in precious metals. I enjoy
the processes involved in working with metal and the
symmetry that can be achieved through precision.
I am fixated with its strength and malleability. How it can
last a thousand years and yet, can be melted and reconfigured with little effort. The surfaces that can be achieved through different applications varies

immensely, everything from mirror finish to blackened rawness. Currently I make my living working for a manufacturing jeweler, using precision diamond tool machinery to mass produce finely finished rings. This has not only informed my knowledge of precious metals but has enhanced my interest and passion for its aesthetics.

What drives me presently is a desire to find a middle ground between the finely finished, mass produced commercial manufacturing which some what lacks creative design and the more rugged, more conceptual contemporary field of the hand made.
I believe the combination of different surfaces and
symmetrical design can sit comfortably between these two largely different avenues.
